Children's day was celebrated with full fervour on thursday 14th nov 2019. This day is celebrated as a tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who is known for his relentless effort to increase awareness of the Rights,Care and Education of children. Teachers organised a fun filled day by conducting a light-hearted assembly. A talent show was held where in the skills and talents of the children of grade I to VIII were identified by the teachers. The children were completely immersed in the fun and frolic programme of the day. Students of grade IX to XII (girls) visited the Mother Tersa Home for aged people at koodal Nager to celebrate the children's Day with them. The inmates were hospitable and friendly. To break the monotomy of their lives out students presented a few stage performance for them. Few fun filled games were also conducted for them. They made our children realise the value of their grandparents and the tenderness with which they need to be taken care. The boys of grade IX-XII celebrated Children's Day with the special children in Anbagam. Lunch, games and cultural programme provided cherishable moments to be those children. Surely many of our students are being trained to contribute such worthy causes in their later adult lives. Teachers and students made their day memorable.
