Kalvi Valarchi Naal – Educational Development Day
July 15 is observed as educational development day.The birthday of former chief minister of TamilnaduSr.K.Kamaraj’s birth anniversary is observed as Tamilnadu’s education development day. This day aims to remind people about his contribution to boosting the school education facilities of Tamilnadu state.The students of Mary Ann put up a wonderful performance.In the auspicious function students demonstrated their oratory skills in Tamil through speeches, debate on the advantages and disadvantages of smartphone, Tamil poem recitation and singing Tamil folk song.
The little ones of primary classes dressed up as Tamil poets and Tamil dignitaries lined up and entered the stage in procession, greeting the audience. The parade looked spectacular. Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions held such as drawing, speech, and essay writing.
